Would you recommend this Surgery to someone who has just moved into the area?

Seeing the Doctor

At this current time we are running a telephone triage service, this means no-one is to come into the surgery to ask for an appointment.  Please telephone our reception team on 01584 810343 and they will arrange for a Doctor to call you back and if you need to come into the surgery they will arrange this with you personally.  We thank you for your co-operation in these unusual circumstances.

It is always advisable to pre-book appointments in advance. This can be done by telephoning the surgery, going into reception or booking online (you can only book online if you have registered – please talk to a member of reception staff for further information)

If you have an urgent problem and cannot wait for a routine appointment please telephone the surgery as soon as possible where you will be seen by the Duty Doctor.

The Duty Doctor also sees patients at Tenbury Hospital and necessary home visits, therefore you may have to wait a little longer to be seen if the doctor is out on hospital visits or house calls.

All appointments are usually 10 minutes long. If you need more than 10 minutes please inform the receptionist when you book your appointment.

Seeing the Practice Nurse

Our Healthcare Assistant (HCA) and Practice Nurses are available each day for booked appointments.

In order to schedule our nursing appointments efficiently can you please tell the receptionist how long you may need. For example, some patients simply require a quick injection but others need a complex dressing change.

From Saturday 1st January 2022 we will no longer be holding clinics on a Saturday morning. These will be moved into the weekdays and appointments will be available outside of normal working hours after 6:30pm.  You can continue to put prescriptions in the post box outside the Surgery and these will be processed in the usual way.  Obviously give plenty of time for repeat prescriptions to be processed.

Clee Hill Branch

At this current time, if you need to see a Doctor please DO NOT come to the surgery, please phone for an appointment with Clee Hill Reception on 01584 890408.  We thank you for your co-operation in this unusual circumstances.

Our Clee Hill Branch surgery is open 5 days per week on a part time basis. See the table on our opening times page for information.

Each Dr’s surgery at Clee Hill is an Open Surgery. Patients are seen the same day.

Please note that the Doctors consulting at Clee Hill can change days. Should you wish to see a specific Doctor please ring up on the day to check.

Can you be seen by a Nurse?

A Practice Nurse is on duty on Tuesday afternoon from 14:30–18:00. On Thursday afternoons there is an INR (Anticoagulant) clinic from 14:30-15:50 then from 16:00-17:00 there are Practice Nurse appointments.

Please advise the receptionist if you may need extra time with the nurse so that we can schedule our nurse appointments as efficiently as possible.

In addition to the practice’s normal opening hours, South Worcestershire Healthcare offer appointments between the hours of 18:30 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 12:00 Saturday and Sunday.

SW Healthcare have set up a separate telephone line to enable patients to book or cancel these appointments within these hours. The Reception staff based at the Worcester hub will receive the incoming calls and will have the ability to book patients into one of the five hubs, depending on availability and whether it is appropriate.

The number to call outside of our normal hours is 01905 789061.  This number will only be available for patients to use 18:30 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 12:00 Saturday and Sunday.  During normal surgery hours  patients will be required to contact their own practice.
